Service · Appliance removal

Appliance pickups, single item through a small kitchen pull.

We pull fridges, washers, dryers, ranges, water heaters, and hot tubs for Reno homeowners, realtors staging a listing, and contractors clearing a reno. Single item ≈ 1/8 truck; multi-item up to 1/4. The price locks in writing before the truck rolls.

What we haul

Six categories. Pulled, loaded, and routed before the crew leaves.

Every appliance pickup follows the same routine: confirm the disconnect, pull and carry through the doorway without scarring the floor, sort to Habitat ReStore or to a Washoe County licensed transfer station, and load. The price is locked on the booking email before the truck rolls.

Refrigerators & freezers

Top-freezer, side-by-side, French-door, garage fridge, a standalone freezer or a wine fridge. Disconnected; refrigerant-bearing units go to a Washoe County licensed transfer station and never to the curb.

Washers & dryers

Stacked or side-by-side, top-load or front-load, gas dryer disconnected at the line. Working units route to Habitat ReStore with a donation receipt.

Ranges & ovens

Freestanding gas or electric, a slide-in, a wall oven, a cooktop pulled during a kitchen demo. Gas ranges disconnected at the shutoff before the crew leaves.

Water heaters

Tank or tankless, gas or electric, thirty, forty, or fifty gallon. Drained and carried before the truck loads; metal drum routes to scrap if the homeowner wants it removed.

Hot tubs & spas

Inflatable, hard-shell, or built-in acrylic shell. Drained on-site where access allows; otherwise pumped, broken down, and hauled in sections so the deck and the yard stay intact.

Built-ins & small appliances

Over-range microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, a trash compactor, or a stacked washer/dryer closet unit. Pulled and carried; the countertop stays clean for the install crew walking in after us.

Sample pricing

Two steps. One standard item or a small pull.

The numbers below are the actual starting prices on /pricing — pulled from the same locked quote config the calculator uses, so the step you see here is the step on the booking email.

Where the unit goes

Working units to ReStore. Refrigerant-bearing units to Washoe County. Everything else bookable today.

Standard ranges, dryers, and washers — bookable today.

Standard white-goods stay immediately bookable through the calculator; no extra coordination, no special routing. Pulled, loaded, and gone the same day; pricing locked on the booking email.

Working units route to Habitat ReStore with a donation receipt.

Any appliance still in working condition goes to Habitat for Humanity ReStore before it reaches the transfer station. The donation receipt arrives in the end-of-job packet — useful for a move-out, a probate filing, or a homeowner’s charitable-contribution record.

Refrigerant-bearing units go to Washoe County licensed transfer stations.

Refrigerators, freezers, window A/C units, and anything with a compressor. Recovered before transport and disposed of at Washoe County licensed transfer stations — never to the curb. A short NDEP BSMM hauler-language reference applies where regulated components are present.

NDEP BSMM hauler language

Where regulated waste matters, we follow the NDEP BSMM hauler-language rules.

NDEP BSMM is the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection’s universal-waste handling standard — it covers mercury-bearing components (older thermostats, relays, switches in vintage appliances) that turn up on intentional tear-outs and older commercial gear. A standard household fridge left at the curb doesn’t trigger the rule, but a reno pull or a multi-unit commercial pickup can. We already work under that standard as a junk hauler in Nevada; property managers dealing with mixed-property tear-outs can read the specifics on /faq.

Ready to schedule

Lock the price in writing. Hold a slot that fits your day.

Build the quote on the calculator or send the address and a few photos. We will reply the same day with the truck-load step, the starting price, and the slot we can hold — single item or a small pull, whichever fits the calendar.

Three questions we hear

From Reno homeowners, realtors, and contractors every week.

Anything not answered here — call or email. A real person picks up during business hours.

My fridges still have refrigerant in them — is that a problem?

No. Refrigerant-bearing units (fridges, freezers, window A/C) are recovered and routed to a Washoe County licensed transfer station. We do not put them at the curb and we do not charge a separate refrigerant fee.

Can a single fridge really be a 1/8 truck job?

Yes — one standard white-goods item (fridge, washer, dryer, range, water heater) is a 1/8 step. Two or three standard units, or a mini hot tub, is the 1/4 step. The calculator prints whatever step the count lands in; if it lands between two, we hold the lower one.

Can you coordinate with my contractor’s schedule?

Yes. Realtors staging a listing and contractors pulling units during a reno get the same emergency-slot treatment as /post-renovation — call before Friday noon for a weekend slot, ask for a same-day window if the punch list overruns.
